It’s the time for grilling and here’s a little something to add to the party that’s special.
Everyone always has their specialty when it comes to parties, so you should try to change it up. This will keeps your friends guessing what you’ll bring next. Really this recipe calls for two items, figs and olive oil mixture.
Ingredients:
- Figs
- Baguette
- Roma tomatoes diced fine
- ½ cup of virgin olive oil
- ¼ cup of diced red onion
- 2 cloves of diced garlic
Directions:
- Lightly coat figs with additional olive oil and grill about 1 minute per side; transfer to a cutting board.
- Mix olive oil, fresh basil, diced red onions.
- Mix the olive oil with diced tomatoes and place to the side.
- Brush thinly sliced bread with olive oil mixture only and grill, flipping once, 2 to 3 minutes per side.
- Top grilled Bruschetta with a fig and a small amount of seasoned tomatoes.
- Arrange on a nice platter and serve!
This should be a great addition to any evening and should get your grilling party started. Change things up by making this as a delicious starter for a brunch, as well!
