Wedding Anticipation

Next week, the event we've been planning will finally arrive.

Jason and I get married Saturday.

All of the anticipation, the details, the dress fittings, the menu choices - all of that will be over in a week and the wedding day will be upon us.

Throughout this whole process, I fell in love with my fiancé even more than I already was and I started to appreciate my family more than I already did.  That is something worth mentioning.  And reminding myself about.

I've also discovered that the bride is the absolute center of attention, and I have to say, I've kind of gotten used to all of this attention.  Being the bride gives you the opportunity to hear from everyone how lovely you are and how excited they are to come to your wedding.  One can't help but enjoy that kind of attention!

While Jason's friends are treating him to a camping weekend for his bachelor party, I'm sitting here in my parents' living room, thinking about how lucky I am to have all of these fun things happening in my life.  It is nice to be able to come home when I need to rediscover a sense of peace during this hectic last week before the wedding.  And even now when I have my own house that I call home, my parents house will always be home to me, too.  I will always be place I can go when I need to exhale.

I will be taking some time off from writing for twoday to indulge in newlywed things and will return to writing for twoday in the first week of November.  I think it will take me that long to recover and find something else to talk about!

Thanks to everyone for reading!
