The first few days on the calorie restricted diet were the hardest for me. There was the necessary math to learn; how many calories, fats, carbs, etc., I was allowed to consume. Since my regular diet allows more protein, even with all the vegetables and fruits I was eating, by day 3 I was feeling a bit light-headed and very hungry.
